Clashes broke out between the residents of Omraniya and Muslim Brotherhood supporters marching from a mosque in Giza after the Friday prayers when they tore down banners for presidential candidate Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Supporters of the Brotherhood and the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy have vowed to boycott presidential elections, viewing them as void since ousted president Mohamed Morsy was removed in what they argue was a coup.
