
Egyptian shooter Omar Khaled Abdelhady was ranked sixth in the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol finals at the ISSF World Cup that took place in Ningbo, China, with participation from over 40 countries, marking a historic milestone for Egyptian sports.
Despite being his second time reaching a World Cup final, Khaled demonstrated the mindset of a champion, showing resilience and precision under intense pressure against the sport’s greatest athletes, including Tokyo and Paris Olympians.
He scored 583 out of 600 points, a remarkable achievement that reflects both his technical excellence and composure on the global stage.
Hazem Hosny, the President of the Egyptian Shooting Federation, along with the board of directors, hailed Khaled’s performance, emphasizing that this historic achievement is the fruit of the unwavering support that Egyptian sports continue to receive from the state.
