Omar Khairat to host concert at Cairo Opera House on Sunday

Veteran composer Omar Khairat is preparing for a huge public concert on Sunday, October 20, on the stage of the Fountain Theater as part of the 32nd Arab Music Festival.

The concert is organized by the Cairo Opera House accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra conducted by Maestro Nayer Nagui, and is expected to receive a huge public turnout with only a limited number of seats available until all tickets is sold out.

 

Program

Khairat has prepared a diverse artistic program for the concert, including a selection of some of his most acclaimed compositions across his storied career, including: “The Night Fatima was Arrested,” “The Case of Uncle Ahmed,” “The Miser and I,” “The Conscience of Abla Hikmat,” and “Ghuayish.”

 

Terms for attending

The Cairo Opera House announced a set of conditions for attending the concert; the first of which is that the doors will open for the public to enter the concert hall at seven pm, and the concert will start at 8:30 pm, and it is necessary to adhere to the formal dress code with shorts or T-shirts forbidden, while children under seven years old are prohibited from entering.
