Official survey: 47% of Egyptian citizens feel unsafe after the revolution

A survey issued by the cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center says that 47 percent of Egyptian citizens feel unsafe after the revolution, 32 percent feel safe and 18 percent feel safe to a certain degree.

The survey also said that 71 percent believe that police presence on the street today is less than what it was before the revolution, 10 percent said it was more, while 4 percent said there was no presence whatsoever before or after the revolution.

It went on to say that 94 percent said citizens must cooperate with the police in order to restore order, 83 percent said they have cooperated with the police after the revolution, and 13 percent said they were mistreated by the police.
