Mahmoud Samy, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for the Environment and Sustainable Development, said the Nile Delta is the world’s second place most threatened to sink, adding that Egypt is keen to face climate change with technology.
He told the Middle East News Agency on the sidelines of a workshop to reduce emissions that the sectors that should work on reducing are the energy, electricity and transport sectors.
He added that the workshop was held in preparation for the Paris Climate Change Conference in November.
