For the second year in a row the world-famous Niagara Falls has lit up in the colors of the Egyptian flag on the occasion of Egypt’s National Day, the July 23 Revolution.
The event comes as part of an initiative by the Egyptian Embassy in Canada.
Many members of the Canadian-Egyptian community participated in this unique event.
The embassy invited them to share the moment with friends and family and encouraged taking photos to be sent them to the Egyptian Embassy to post online.
The Egyptian Embassy in Canada organized many virtual and physical events throughout July to celebrate both the Egyptian National Day and the Egyptian Heritage Month, observed in July of each year in Canada.
