New measures are applied on Egyptians heading to Sudan

Sources from Cairo Airport said that the passports department started on Sunday applying the new measures on Egyptians travelers to Sudan.

The measures came after Sudanese authorities submitted an official statement that included applying new measures ordered by the Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on all Egyptians accessing the country. The statement was sent to all airlines.

Instructions were made by Bashir for regulations that organize the access of Egyptians to Khartoum.

Children and girls are allowed access without a visa, while males those between 19-49 years old should be holding a valid visa from a Sudanese embassy or consulate. Those above 50 years of age are allowed access without visa as well.
