A new aid vessel carrying Gaza-bound cargo arrived early Tuesday morning at the Egyptian port of Arish, located in North Sinai.
A security source said the Al-Amal, which has arrived from Libya, will unload within hours and the cargo will then head to the Palestinian enclave Tuesday night, through the Rafah land crossing, 40km from Arish.
Al-Amal transported 30 vans loaded with 95 tons of aid, as well as scores of Arab and European activists.
Three weeks ago, Egypt denied the cargo land entry through its border with Libya, ordering it instead to gain access through Arish.
