Naomi Campbell to wed at Luxor Temple

Celebrity English model Naomi Campbell will wed at the 3400-year-old Luxor Temple  on 7 December, a tourist authority source said.

The ceremony will be attended by a throng of Hollywood stars, celebrities, and other public figures, according to the source.

Forty-year-old Campbell will spend her honeymoon with her billionaire groom, Valdislav Doronin, 47, overlooking the Nile at the Winter Palace, south of the temple.

Winter Palace hosted the first public appearance of France's first lady, Carla Bruni, with her husband Niolcas Sarkozy. The Victorian style hotel dates back to 1886 and has seven Nile-view suites.

Campbell emerged on the global stage when she became the first black model to appear in Vogue magazine in 1988.

She has sponsored several charity projects in sub-saharan Africa, assisted by former South African leader Nelson Mandela.
