Cairo Criminal Court adjourned on Saturday the retrial of ousted President Hosni Mubarak, his two sons Alaa and Gamal, former Interior Minister Habib al-Adly, as well as six of his aides, on charges of murdering protesters and financial corruption.
The case will resume on Sunday to listen to the testimony of former army chief of staff Sami Annan.
On Saturday, the court listened to the testimony of former Supreme Council of the Armed Forces chief Hussein Tantawy, who was late for the court appointment, causing the court session to start at 11.
For over three hours, Tantawy's testimony tackled the country's circumstances before, during and after, the events of the January 2011 revolution.
