President Mohamed Morsy is flying to Riyadh Sunday to participate in the third Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, according to the president's spokesperson Yasser Ali.
Ali added that the president will also perform Umra before taking part in the conference, and will return to Egypt Monday night.
In the opening session, Morsy will give a speech to Arab leaders on the economic situation in Egypt and the region, and the importance of Arab economic integration, increasing investment between Arab states and removing trade barriers.
Egypt hosted the summit two years ago, when it was held in Sharm el-Sheikh.
Morsy is also scheduled to visit Germany on 30 January at the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Ali said.
He will stay in Germany until 31 January and then fly to France on 1 February for a meeting with French President Francois Hollande.
