The trial of ousted President Mohamed Morsy has been postponed until 8 January, according to a judge presiding in the trial.
The delay will allow the prosecution and defence to examine relevant documents, state-run Al-Ahram reported on Monday.
Morsy and 14 other defendants, including former presidential staffers and leading Muslim Brotherhood figures, stand accused of inciting the murder of protesters outside the Ettehadiya presidential palace in December 2012.
