A supporter of ousted President Mohamed Morsy was killed on Sunday in confrontations with the police in Dalga village, south west of Minya.
Ibrahim Sayyed, 25, was killed and others injured in clashes with the police during a march staged to call for the ousted president's return to power.
The march set off after noon prayers and besieged a police station in Dalga. The protesters hurled stones at the station before clashing with security forces. Security fired tear gas and shots in the air to break up the protest.
