President Mohamed Morsy said Tuesday he would dispatch a senior delegation to Addis Ababa to attent the funeral service for Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi, according to spokesperson Yasser Ali.
State-run Ethiopian television reported that Zenawi, 57, had died late Monday from a sudden infection while recovering from an illness at a hospital in Brussels.
In July, the government said Zenawi was on vacation to recover from an undisclosed illness.
