Toppled President Mohamed Morsy performed Friday prayers in his solitary detention at Borg al-Arab Prison, accompanied by eight officers.
“Morsy has not prayed in the prison's mosque due to security concerns,” a security source told Al-Masry Al-Youm.
The source added a place affiliated with the cell has been allocated for Morsy to exercise.
“A preacher from the Endowments Ministry delivered a 20-minute sermon to Morsy,” the source added.
