Hossam Bahgat, founder of the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights, said ousted President Mohamed Morsy did not release any of the Islamists accused in cases of incitement to violence, terrorism or murder.
He said Morsy released 1,135 young revolutionaries that were detained by the military council after the 25 January revolution when he formed a commission for that purpose before he became president.
He added that all former prisoners who are now accused by security sources of engaging in acts of terrorism were released of Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, the former defense minister.
