From CNN’s Eyad Kourdi

More than 1,500 people in Lebanon have been killed and over 8,000 injured since Israel escalated its war on Hezbollah last month, according to Lebanon’s health ministry.

Some 1.2 million people have been displaced in the country since fighting escalated last month, Lebanese authorities have previously said, as the humanitarian crisis grows and Israel expands its military operations.

A quarter of Lebanon is now under Israeli military displacement orders, according to the United Nations.
