Detectives of Cairo Security Directorate are intensifying efforts to arrest perpetrators in the theft of the villa of Egypt international and Liverpool FC striker Mohamed Salah.
The security services in the First Settlement seized the surveillance cameras’ records in the vicinity of the villa, to check it for any suspicious movements, and counting the stolen items from inside the villa.
The police also hearing statements of the one first reported the crime, the neighbors and the doorman.
Security services in Cairo received a report on Sunday from a relative of the player that the villa in the First Settlement area in Cairo has been looted.
That relative said that while he was passing through the villa, he noticed that one of the windows was opened. Upon entering, he found a mess in one of the rooms and the disappearance of some stuff, including TV receivers.
Security sources revealed that the initial inspection indicated that the suspect stole three television receivers.
The sources added that the suspect broke the window of the villa, entered it, scattered the contents of a room, and tried to steal a gas cylinder, but left it in the villa’s garden.
