Egypt’s football legend and Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah will join the Egyptian national football team for two friendly matches in October, the coach of the Egyptian national football team Rui Vitoria announced.
He also announced the full list of players for this month’s camp, who are set to witness two friendly matches against Zambia and Algeria on October 12 and 16 in the UAE, as part of preparations for the African qualifiers for the World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations 2024 in Côte d’Ivoire.
The list includes 25 players:
- Mohamed al-Shenawy, Mohamed Sobhi, Mohamed Abu Gabal, Mohamed Hani, Omar Kamal, Mohamed Hamdy, Ahmed Fattouh, Ali Gabr, Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Ahmed Sami, Tariq Hamed
- Marwan Attia, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Emam Ashour, Mohamed Elneny, Mahmoud Hamada, Hamdy Fathi, Mohamed Salah, Mostafa Fathi, Omar Marmoush, Mahmoud Trezeguet, Hussein am-Shahat, Mustafa Mohamed, and Marwan Hamdi.
Earlier in September, Salah continued a victorious streak after contributing to his team’s 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton in the fifth round of the English Premier League.
Salah was able to make assists for two goals in Liverpool’s victory on Saturday against its counterpart, Wolverhampton, in the match that brought them together in the fifth round.
