The captain of the Egyptian national football team and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah revealed how tight-knit Egypt’s training camp in Morocco is, where they are participating in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Egyptian national team secured a 3-2 victory over Ivory Coast in their match on Saturday evening, officially qualifying for the semi-finals of the tournament and setting up a clash with Senegal on Wednesday evening.
Salah said in a press conference after the match: “This training camp has to be video-recorded. It’s the best camp I’ve ever had. We’re all close, we love each other, we hang out together, the humor is unbelievable, and we work hard both on and off the pitch.”
“No one in the country wants to win this title more than me. I’ve won everything in football except this one, and I’ve been carrying this pressure for a long time.”
