
Egyptian international Mohamed Salah achieved a historic milestone with Liverpool on Saturday evening in the English Premier League.
Salah provided a crucial assist for his French teammate Hugo Ekitike, who scored Liverpool’s second goal against Brighton.
With this contribution, Salah became the player with the most goal and assist contributions for a single club in Premier League history, with 277, surpassing Wayne Rooney’s record of 276.
Ekitike scored Liverpool’s first goal in the 46th second of the match, assisted by defender Joe Gomez.
Anfield, the home ground of Salah’s team, hosted Liverpool’s match against Brighton in the 16th round of the English Premier League.
Salah was benched at the start of Liverpool’s game against Brighton on Saturday, then came on in the 26th minute as a substitute following an injury to Joe Gomez.
