Egypt’s meteorologists predict moderate weather for the northern coasts on Wednesday, with moderately high temperatures for Cairo and Lower Egypt and hotter weather in Upper Egypt during the daylight.
The weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 28C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 36C in Qena, 37C in Luxor and 38C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium-level clouds anticipated, accompanied by heavy rains and possibly torrents on several areas in Sinai, Upper Egypt and the Red Sea.
Winds are mostly northwesterly and moderate, active on Upper Egypt and the Gulf of Suez, potentially disturbing the maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, and will range between 1.5 and two meters with northwestern surface winds over both seas.
