Moderately hot weather for Egypt on Friday



Meteorologists predict moderately hot weather for Cairo and Lower Egypt on Friday, with moderate weather on the northern coast and very hot weather in Upper Egypt.

Temperatures are expected to decline across the country at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following areas are: 35C in Cairo, 30C in Alexandria, 36C in Lower Egypt, 46C in Aswan, 46C in Luxor, 46C in Qena.

Winds will be moderate and active on South Sinai, potentially disrupting maritime navigation, and raising sand and dust in several parts of Upper Egypt.

Mist will impact visibility in the morning hours in Greater Cairo and on the northern coast, accompanied by light and occasionally foggy rains in different areas in Upper Egypt.

Waves will be moderate in the Mediterranean Sea, ranging between 1.5 and two meters, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two to 2.5 meters, with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.
