Meteorologists predict moderately hot and humid weather on Tuesday during the daytime on Cairo, and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the northwestern coasts, and very hot weather at Upper Egypt.
The weather will grow moderate across the country by nightfall, with mild temperatures in the northern coasts.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 43C in Qena, and 44C in Luxor and Aswan.
Mists are expected during the morning hours on Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts, while light to medium rainfall is predicted within southern Upper Egypt.
Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 45-88 on the northern coasts, 32-82 at Cairo and Lower Egypt, 25-65 in northern Upper Egypt, and 18-40 at southern Upper Egypt.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said that the country is currently being affected by the Indian summer monsoon, making temperatures feel hotter and more humid.
Winds will be moderate across Upper Egypt, and active on different areas in South Sinai.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height. Surface winds will be northwestern on both seas.
