Meteorologists predict cold weather on the northwestern coasts on Monday, milder for the rest of Egypt, and growing colder by night across the entire country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 17C in Alexandria, 18C in Cairo, 19C in Qena and Luxor, and 20C in Aswan.
Frost is expected to appear in middle Sinai and northern Upper Egyptian provinces.
Low and medium-level clouds are also expected in the northern parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall on northern coasts, parts of Nile Delta, and different areas of southern Egypt, and South Sinai.
Winds are expected to be mainly southwestern and moderate, active on northeastern coasts and the Red Sea, disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height with northwesterly surface winds.
