Moderate weather expected for Friday, Cairo 21C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has predicted an incremental increase in temperature for Friday on the country’s northern coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo and the north of Upper Egypt.

Warm weather is expected to dominate the southern parts of Upper Egypt during the day, with very cold temperatures predicted for throughout night.

Frost is expected to form across plantations in central Sinai and the north of Upper Egypt.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning along the north coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, and the north of Upper Egypt, and will be dense on some roads.

Low and medium level cloud cover is expected for the north and winds are anticipated to be moderate and northeasterly.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light and range between 0.5 and 1 meters with northeasterly surface winds. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwesterly surface winds.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 21C in Cairo, 20C in Alexandria, 25C in Qena, 26C in Luxor, and 27C in Aswan.
