Meteorologists predict cold weather on Thursday for the northern coasts, with moderate temperatures for Lower Egypt and Cairo and warmer weather at Upper Egypt during daylight hours, while growing very cold at night across the entire country.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country until north Upper Egypt, denser in some areas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are 17C in Alexandria, 20C in Cairo, 23C in Qena and Luxor, and 24C in Aswan.
Low and medium-level clouds are expected, accompanied by rainfall in the northern coasts, and parts of Lower Egypt. Winds will be mostly northwesterly and moderate.
Waves in the Mediterranean will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, while moderate waves are expected for the Red Sea and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly on both seas.
