Meteorologists predict moderate weather for Egypt’s northern coasts on Thursday and hot weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt.
Very hot temperatures will prevail across southern Upper Egypt during the daytime, while the weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo, 41C in Qena and 42C in Luxor and Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium-level clouds anticipated.
Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate, active on South Sinai and in the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate and will range between 1.5 and two meters in height with northwesterly surface winds.
