The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderate weather across the country in the morning on Friday and very cold temperatures at night.
Northwesterly winds are expected to be active in the north of Egypt, carrying sand and dust in open areas, particularly in the country’s east.
Winds will be active in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea, disturbing maritime navigation, notably in the eastern part of the Mediterranean.
Low and medium cloud cover is expected for the north, accompanied by rainfall on the north coast, the center of Sinai, Lower Egypt and Cairo.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range between three and four meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between two and two-and-a-half meters with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 19C in Cairo, 19C in Alexandria, 21C in Qena, 22C in Luxor and 23C in Aswan.
