Meteorologists expect moderate weather along Egypt’s northern coast on Saturday, and hot weather in Cairo and Upper Egypt. The hottest temperatures will prevail south of Upper Egypt in the morning, growing milder at night.
Temperatures predicted include 33C in Cairo, 30C in Alexandria, 37C in Qena, 38C in Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in Egypt’s northern parts, in the morning.
Low to medium-level clouds are expected over the north.
Northweasterly winds are anticipated to be moderate, and particularly active in South Sinai, and Egypt’s southern regions.
Winds also will be active on the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be rough, between 2.5 and 3 meters. Northwesterly surface winds are predicted over both seas.
