Moderate temperatures expected for Wednesday: EMA

Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects moderate weather inthe country’s northern parts and Upper Egypt on Wednesday while warm weather will dominate the south of Upper Egypt during daylight hours.

Cold weather is expected across the country at night.

Low and medium level cloud cover is expected for the north. Mist will affect visibility throughout the country’s northern parts and the north of Upper Egypt in the morning.

Winds are anticipated to be moderate and mostly northwesterly and will be active on the Suez Gulf and the Red Sea, possibly disturbing navigation.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range between 1.5 and 2 meters high, while waves in the Red Sea will range between 2 and 2.5 meters with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 19C in Cairo, 18C in Alexandria, 21C in Qena, 22C in Luxor, and 23C in Aswan.
