Egypt’s meteorologists predict moderate temperatures across the north of the country on Friday, and hot and mild temperatures for Lower Egypt and Cairo while very hot temperatures are expected for Upper Egypt during daylight.
Weather will grow mild at night throughout the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 43C in Qena, 45C in Luxor and 46C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low-level clouds anticipated.
Winds will be mostly northwesterly and moderate while active in South Sinai, disrupting maritime navigation. They will also be active in the Gulf of Suez and will disturb maritime navigation there as well.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate and will range between 1.5 and 2 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds.
