Mo Salah’s health ‘absolutely strong’, says Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praised the performance of Egyptian international and Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah during his match against Bournemouth on Saturday, commenting that his health is doing well.

“Mo (Salah), absolutely strong,” Klopp said, “Absolutely. It’s long ago that he got that knock but you carry things like this with you when have game after game after game. He looks now 100 percent.”

Salah played his 100th Premier League match, scoring a goal and making another in Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Bournemouth in the 16th round of the Premier League.

Salah completed the match until its end, reaching his seventh goal in the league this season and making four assists.

Liverpool won its match against Bournemouth on Saturday during Premier League.

This win lifts the Reds 11 points clear of second-placed Leicester City at the top of the table.

The win also extended Liverpool’s club-record unbeaten run in the division to 33 matches.

“I forgot how it (clean sheet) feels, to be honest! It’s great, we should have them more often. It was the most-used word in the dressing room by the boys – ‘clean sheet, clean sheet, clean sheet’. Obviously everybody was desperate for that, now we have it so let’s have it more often,” Klopp said.
