In its daily bulletin, the Electricity and Consumer Protection Observatory said the deficit in electricity produced on Thursday was 2,450 MW, of which 2,100 MW were cut off and 350 MW reduced in coordination with subscribers.
It added that consumption exceeded production with 14 hours and 30 minutes, adding that the maximum load expected on Friday is 24,750 MW versus 25,450 MW Thursday.
It also said that loads reached the red zone on 10:50am on Friday, which means that citizens are urged to rationalize consumption, adding that power cuts will not exceed one hour for each subscriber.
