Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy has stated that the president of the USA Poultry and Egg Export Council Jim Sumner has offered to supply Egypt with large quantities of high-quality frozen and canned poultry at a competitive price for Supply Ministry-affiliated outlets.
Ministry officials held a meeting with Sumner and representatives of the US Embassy where conditions over the US poultry supply to Egypt were discussed.
The MIRASCO president, a representative of the USA Poultry and Egg Export Council in Egypt and the spokesperson for the minister of agricultural affairs at the US embassy attended the meeting.
