A new investment law will be finalized before the economic summit slated for March, according to Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour during talks on Monday with Ambassador James Moran, head of the European Union delegation.
The talks tackled the outcome of the meeting hosted by Egypt on Sunday where four African trade ministers from countries of Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and Senegal, as well as the general director of the World Trade Organization, met over coordination to enhance the multilateral trading system to boost economic growth and development especially in developing countries.
During the talks, Moran stressed the importance of taking advantage of agreements and programs carried out to increase bilateral volume of joint ties between Egypt and the EU countries especially in field of technical support.
Moran also highlighted Egypt’s main role in issues related to enhancing the multilateral trading system in developing and African countries.
