The military prosecution released on Monday three members of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party for bail of LE500 each.
Tareq al-Awady, one of the defendant's lawyers, said the prosecution accused them of attacking a military institution and insulting Major General Hamdy Badeen, a military police chief.
The three activists were arrested on Thursday while taking part in a march in Nasr City near Badeen’s house.
Awady said the activists were arrested along with a number of other political prisoners and some criminals, alleging that they were insulted and beaten by other prisoners.
