The National Military Production Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with the Maadi Engineering Industries Company and Medtech Korean company to establish a factory for the manufacture of medical devices.
Military Production Minister Mohamed Saeed al-Assar, said during the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding that the aim of the signing of the memorandum is to exploit the technological and human potential of Maadi Engineering Industries in the manufacturing medical devices and to exploit Medtech’s technical expertise in this field through the establishment of a medical devices factory.
Assar added that the factory will meet the needs of the local market in Egypt, besides exporting medical devices abroad.
He stressed that the military production sector has many contributions to the medical field in Egypt and supports the national economy.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Medtech Dai Jie Li stressed his confidence in the military production sector’s capabilities in the production of medical devices, adding that his company is willing to cooperate and exchange technical and technological expertise with Egypt, applying the latest technology in the field.
