Mild weather for Egypt on Monday, second day of Eid al-Fitr

Meteorologists predict mild weather on Monday, the second day of Eid al-Fitr, during daytime on Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.

Temperatures will be moderate in northern Upper Egypt, and moderately hot in southern Upper Egypt.

Mist is expected during the morning hours at Cairo and Lower Egypt.

By nightfall, the weather will grow moderately cold across most of the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C in Alexandria and Cairo, 32C in Qena, 33C in Luxor, and 35C in Aswan.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate across most of the country, active on South Sinai and blowing up sand and dust at Upper Egypt, while potentially disrupting maritime in the Red Sea and Gulf of Suez.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be very rough, ranging between three and four meters in height.

Surface winds will be northwestern on both seas.
