Meteorologists expect mild weather to prevail across most of the country during the spring celebrations of Sham el-Nessim on Monday, with hotter temperatures in southern Upper Egypt during the day to be colder at night across all parts.
Visibility will be low in the morning due to dense mist throughout Lower Egypt, Cairo, the Suez Canal cities and northern Upper Egypt.
Low- and medium-level clouds will increase over western parts and Halayeb Triangle with a high chance of rain. The wind, mostly northwesterly and moderate, will be active over western parts, blowing up sand and dust.
Waves in the Mediterranean and Red Sea will be 1-1.5 meters in height, with northwesterly winds blowing across both seas.
Maximum temperatures expected on Monday are 30C in Cairo, 26C in Alexandria, 32C in Luxor and 31C in Aswan.
