The Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) expects mild weather on the northern coasts on Tuesday while hot weather will dominate Low Egypt, Cairo and north of Upper Egypt.
Hotter weather is expected over south of Upper Egypt in the daylight hours.
Cold temperatures will dominate the country overnight.
Low and medium level cloud cover is predicted for the north.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning.
Winds will mostly be northeasterly and moderate in strength.
Waves in the Mediterranean and Red seas will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters with southwesterly surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be light to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters, with northeasterly surface winds.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 30C in Cairo, 25C in Alexandria, 37C in Qena, 38C in Luxor, and 40C in Aswan.
