Microbus accident on Western Desert Road in Qena leaves 13 injured

Thirteen people were injured on Saturday when a minibus overturned on the Western Desert Road at Qena Governorate.

The Qena Security Directorate received a report from the Qena Ambulance Authority regarding the overturning of a minibus and multiple injuries.

It found that the minibus overturned on the Western Desert Road at the entrance to Samaina in Naj Hammadi as a result of the driver losing control of the steering wheel.

Ten ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and the injured were transported to Qena General Hospital for treatment.

A report was filed regarding the incident, and the prosecution took over investigations.
