Meteorologists expected temperatures to continue to rise in the coming days.
Temperatures in Cairo during daylight hours on Wednesday would reach 26C and 12C at night, while the northern coasts are expected to see highs of 23C during the day, and a minimum of 14C at night.
Temperatures will rise in South Sinai where the maximum is expected at 30C and the minimum 18C.
In norther Upper Egypt the maximum is 29C and the minimum 14C, and in southern Upper Egypt the maximum is 36C and minimum 16C.
On Tuesday, temperatures continued to rise in all parts of the country so that hot weather prevailed during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, warm weather on the northwestern coasts, and hot weather on southern Upper Egypt.
Very cold temperatures will prevail at night across the country.
Fog is expected for Tuesday and Wednesday morning on the roads leading to Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
Moderate winds are also expected, sometimes active in areas of Lower Egypt, Cairo and the northern coasts.
