Egypt’s Meteorological Authority on Sunday announced that Egypt’s temperatures will increase during the coming period due to low pressure monsoon coming from India and increasing humidity.
The authority expects very hot weather on southern Upper Egypt, hot weather on Cairo and Lower Egypt, and moderate weather on the northern coasts.
Maximum temperatures will reach 43C, while the minimum temperatures will reach 28C in Rafah and Matrouh.
The weather will grow colder across Egypt at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities on Wednesday are 34C in Cairo, 30C in Alexandria, 40C in Qena, 41C in Luxor, 42C in Aswan.
Winds will be northwestern and active on Greater Cairo, South Sinai, and the western coasts.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between one and 1.57 meters, with northwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 1.57 meters with northwestern surface winds.
