Former Tunisian President Mohamed Moncef Marzouki has attacked President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, saying Sisi will not succeed in forcing the Egyptian people to obey him.
Talking to the Al-Karama Human Rights Forum in Rabat on Monday, Monday, Marzouki called for a national reconciliation in Egypt and a political solution in Syria.
He said the great hope that has arisen after the Arab Spring has turned into a nightmare in some Arab countries, as it has produced a civil war in Syria, Libya and Yemen, and a counter-revolution in Egypt. “As to Tunisia, the old regime has returned strong,” he said.
“The Arab world need a moral revolution,” he concluded.
