Marsa Alam Airport receives 80 international flights this week

Marsa Alam International Airport, southern Red Sea governorate on Saturday will begin receiving 80 international flights carrying tourists from several different countries for a week, to spend their vacations on the shores of Marsa Alam city.

The airport is also scheduled to receive seven other domestic flights from Egyptian airports.

These 80 flights include – 12 European flights, with the launch of Italian flights, with four flights, eight flights from German airports, 20 flights from Czech, 17 flights from Poland, 12 flights from Ukraine, four from Switzerland, one from Hungary, two flights from Belarus, and another from France and Lithuania, and two from Moldova.

Marsa Alam airport obtained a certificate of health accreditation for safe travel from the Airport Council International during the first quarter of 2021, navigational sources at the airport stated.

A ministerial committee from the Ministries of Health and Aviation inspected all measures followed by the authorities at Marsa Alam International Airport as tourist movement returns.

Over the past few years, Egypt has dramatically improved its system of checks for passengers and luggage, and tremendously improved its airport infrastructure.
