Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atty stated that Egypt supports US President Donald Trump’s plan and vision for ending the war in Gaza.
In press statements to Sky News Arabia Channel late Thursday, he added that the “Trump plan for Gaza needs further discussion on how to implement it, especially concerning governance and security arrangements.”
Abdelatty affirmed: “There are many gaps that we need to fill regarding the Trump plan for Gaza, and if there is political will, I believe this plan can be implemented on the ground, but it requires collaboration.”
He stressed that Egypt is being very cautious and is currently holding talks with Hamas to determine their response to the Trump plan.
