Dr. Magdi Hegazy, undersecretary of the Health Ministry in Daqahlia, said that the death of two new victims in Tuesday’s Mansoura blast brought the total death toll so far up to 15 people.
Policeman Omar Hassan al-Tahan died of his wounds at an area hospital and rescue teams found an unidentified corpse under the rubble.
Earlier reports said that 13 people were killed and more than 100 were injured. Casualties include both police officers and civilians.
