A four-story building collapsed in the Zeitoun district of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Monday, resulting in the death of one person and injury of four people.
Civil protection personnel moved to the accident site and worked to extract those trapped under the rubble.
The Civil Defense Forces in Cairo were able to retrieve the body of first victim, a 45-year-old photocopier technician.
The Civil Defense Forces transferred four collapse victims to hospital for treatment, and continued to remove and lift the rubble, with some ambulances present at the scene.
