Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Saturday 30/11/2024 inspected the project of renovation of Nasser Institute Hospital and transforming it into Nile Medical City.
He asserted the importance of the project in presenting services to patients and citizens from all over Egypt.
Establishing Nile Medical Hospital on the strategic position of Corniche el Nile will cause a quantum leap in presenting all kinds of healthcare to patients, he said, adding that the state is keen on improving the quality of health services presented to the citizens.
During the inspection, Madbouly was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber, Assistant Health Minister for National Projects Anwar Ismail and Director of Nasser Institute Hospital Mahmoud Saeed.
Abdel Ghaffar said that the Health Ministry prioritizes expansion of health projects and new constructions in all the governorates topped by renovation of Nasser Institute Hospital for Research and Treatment by making it the biggest medical city in Egypt and the Middle East.
He asserted the keenness of the ministry with the bodies concerned to provide all the medical equipment in addition to providing doctors in the different specializations.
Abdel Ghaffar said Nasser Institute Hospital which is transforming into Nile Medical City was not renovated for 30 years until 2015.
